With an awkwardly constructed but rhyming title that translates as “Paintblots for the purpose of meaning”, this series invites you to step off the merry-go-round of artistic meaning-mania and enjoy an expanded range of perception that finds fascination with textures, colors, and accidents. In the sense world of capitalism, where we have all developed paranoia about why something/someone seeks our attention (what are they trying to sell me?) and accompanying defense mechanisms, it’s become difficult to make things that don’t simply become more for a viewer to process, to deal with. Isn’t it refreshing to simply perceive and be free of ulterior motives on all sides? Viva ambiguity!
